Leadership Lessons Daily: Day 318

Scripture Passage: Mark 1:35-37
Uncommon Leaders Are in High Demand
Jesus was without any doubt a leader in high demand. Wherever He went, great multitudes followed Him. One morning He got up early and went to a solitary place to pray and the Bible says, “And Simon and they that were with him followed after him. And when they had found him, they said unto him, all men seek for thee.”
The lesson here is this; uncommon leaders are in high demand. People are constantly seeking for them. Their location is irrelevant. People went to John the Baptist in the wilderness. These leaders have what people want, and so people will travel thousands of miles to find them. If people are not seeking for you it is not because of your location. We all have something in us with which to bless our world. And no two people have the same gift. When you discover your unique gift, it sets you apart from others, and you become an uncommon leader to be sought out.
Prayer: Father, help me to discover my purpose.
