Leadership Lessons Daily: Day 334

Scripture Passage: John 3:28
An Authentic Leader Knows Who He is
John, the Baptist said, “ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.” These are the words of a man who clearly knows who he is.
The lesson here is this; an authentic leader knows who he is. He is not guessing and neither is he trying to be a copy of some other person. He knows his place and he stays there and strives to be the best version of himself that he can be. His competition is never with others but with himself to ensure that at each time he is breaking his own records. Are you an authentic leader? Do you know who you are? Do you celebrate who you are? And do you strive for continual improvement? Authentic leaders do.
Prayer: Father, help me to know who I am.
