DOZ Show Episode 64 – Erin Keaney

Erin Keaney is the guest in this episode of DOZ Show. She is co-founder of Nonspec, an organisation that manufactures affordable and adjustable prosthetic kits for amputees. Erin’s journey to manufacturing prosthetic kits goes back to when she was a little girl and watched her father, a plastics engineer work on medical devices he brought home. She designed her first adjustable prosthetic limb while in university studying to be a plastics engineer like her father. And when she learned how costly prosthetic limbs were, she embarked on a journey to provide amputees with limbs that were not only adjustable and easy to use but pocket friendly. It has not been an easy task, but she is pursuing her vision one day at a time and has been recognised for her efforts. Listen to Erin share her journey and be inspired for innovation.
