Barrister Iryn Omorogiuwa is the guest in this episode of DOZ Show. She is a lawyer and member of the Nigerian Bar Association. Also, she is the state counsel Ministry of Justice Edo State Nigeria and chairperson International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Edo State Nigeria. Iryn shares her journey to realising her childhood dream of becoming a lawyer and a voice for the oppressed in society. It was not an easy journey. Her father died just as she gained admission to university to study law and she became discouraged because he would never see her dream materialise. But she carried on as she understood that she wanted to be a lawyer for herself and no one else. Then came the financial hardships, which typically follow the demise of most fathers, but Iryn would find a way to achieve her goal despite not always having what she required for the journey. Today she is not only a lawyer, but she is a solid voice for the oppressed. Listen to Iryn and be inspired to have your dreams against the odds.
