Minister Sherilyn Bennett is the guest in this episode of DOZ Show. She is an advocate for female entrepreneurs of faith, and an accomplished and sought after speaker and award-winning graphic designer and branding expert. Sherilyn travels extensively in the USA ministering to women about living their faith out loud without apology. She believes that women were created with everything they need to walk in purpose. She is the celebrated author of “It’s Time for a Village Meeting: Awakening Moms, Reclaiming Our Girls” and the soon-to-be-released book, “Pink Slip: A Faith Leap Into Entrepreneurship!” Sherilyn is the CEO of Camden Lane Creative Agency, a full-service corporate design and branding agency. This is a business she began after losing her job. In this interview, she shares how her initial failure in business left her too scared to try again until she was laid off from her job. At that point she decided it was time to sink or swim and invested her severance pay in a business. She had hit rock bottom, and with no other place to go, she began to go up, and to demonstrate to other women that it is possible, and okay to thrive in business.
