Valerie Kelso is the guest in this episode of DOZ Show. Valerie became pregnant the age of 16 and gave birth to a baby girl. After that her child’s father tried to kill her but was prevented by her father. She sustained emotional scars and physical wounds from being stabbed with a knife. Years later, she moved to America where she began a new life. At Fort Worth Texas, she attended a massage school where she learnt that through love the body can repair itself. She began to offer massage services and her clientele grew quickly as people in the community began to spread the word about this woman with “healing hands”. In December 2015 the doors to Purple Light Touch Foundation were opened and in 2017 she opened up PLT Massage and Wellness LLC. She now has a 10-room facility, allowing her to offer medical and relaxation massages to both men and women to handle bodies wrapped in pain. She works closely with the Women’s Shelter’s, Churches, Counselling Centres, and other advocates for recovering women and teen girls, demonstrating to women and teen girls there is a touch that changes lives in a good and sometimes great way. If you feel better, you do better that is the Purple Light Touch, and Valerie Kelso way. Listen as Valerie shares her transition from pain to gain. Be inspired to discover purpose in the midst of pain.
