Mrs Taiwo Ajai-Lycett is the guest in this episode of DOZ Show. She is a Nigerian actress, journalist, television presenter, and cosmetologist. She is also a feminist and was the first editor of Africa Woman magazine in the 1970s. Her acting career began in December 1966 when she acted in Wole Soyinka’s The Lion and the Jewel, directed by William Gaskill at the Royal Court Theatre in London. The praise she received following her performance and the invitations from producers that followed, caused her to enrol at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has featured in several notable Nigerian films, including Tinsel, the award-winning Nigerian soap opera.
