Cheryl McAnda is the guest in this episode of DOZ Show. She is a gospel singer, business owner, and mum to three beautiful children. Years of verbal and physical abuse in her marriage and the impact of her divorce brought her to a point where she lost her self-esteem and confidence, felt worthless and suffered an immense inferiority complex. She believed she was ugly and could do nothing right. It took years to finally realise she was worthy and precious in the sight of God. Her turning point came when she started singing in church, and people applauded her and paid her compliments. Because of her experience, Cheryl is passionate about helping people, especially women and children who have suffered abuse. Her love and passion for people have caused her to continually receive requests from those who are challenged and require a listening ear or words of wisdom. She says; I can relate to most of the pain and abuse because I have been there. She is a phenomenal woman who is reaching back to help others get through their seasons of adversity. In this interview, Cheryl shares her inspiring journey; how she went from a broken home, created by racial segregation in apartheid South Africa, to a broken marriage, and has turned her pain to purpose and found a new zeal for life. Listen to Cheryl and be inspired for something new!
