Scripture Passage: Exodus 32:1
People Will Always Need Leaders to Go Before Them
Moses was up on the mountain receiving the laws from God and when the children of Israel saw that he delayed in coming down they approached Aaron and said to him, “Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.” They did not know what had become of Moses so they asked for another leader.
The lesson here is this; there is and will always be a need for leaders who can go before a people and show them the way they ought to go. People need direction, and good leaders offer direction, therefore they are always in high demand.
Prayer: Father, help me to lead myself and others in the right direction.
