Scripture Passage: Exodus 4:1-16
You Don’t Need to be an Orator to Lead
Moses was not eloquent; he said so himself when God asked him to return to Egypt and dialogue with Pharaoh for the release of the children of Israel. However, it was an excuse that didn’t stand, as God gave him a spokesman in the person of his brother, Aaron. Moses returned to Egypt and demanded the release of his people and although he was no orator, he finally got what he wanted.
The lesson here is this; you may not be eloquent, you may not be an orator, you may not know how to give great speeches but if you have a vision and a heart to serve people, you will succeed as a leader.
Prayer: Father, give me a heart to serve people.
